Freight-World Completes Import For Local Glass Factory From China (4 Tonnes International Air Freight)
Freight-World recently imported 4 Tonnes of cargo by Air Freight for a local glass factory which had a government project to fulfil within a specified time frame. The cargo was manufactured by a factory in Qingdao and the cargo had to arrive within a specified time frame by International Air Freight. There is only one direct International Air Freight service from Qingdao to Melbourne which operates twice weekly into Melbourne. On top of this restriction we also had to consider that the International Airline takes priority for passenger luggage before International Cargo.
We had to carefully work with our team in China to ensure the cargo was loaded on the direct flight, this involved the whole team coming into the office on Saturday evening to work with the team in China and confirm on the spot once the airline departed with the cargo from Qingdao. The cargo did depart as scheduled on the Saturday evening and the cargo was cleared and delivered to our client without delay.
